Changing the world 🌏 one 💔heart💖 at a time
About Patrizia · a.k.a. Trixi
Hello, I'm Trixi

artist, speaker & founder

A faith-filled follower of Christ whose life and work are rooted in love, compassion, and the belief that God can bring beauty from even the most broken places. Born in Germany, raised in South Africa, and now calling New Zealand home — I draw from a rich tapestry of cultures and experiences that shape my creativity and ministry.

Bringer of JoyArtist 🎨Thought LeaderSpeakerIsaiah 61:1‑4
I can't share my story without God. His mercy became my oxygen, His love my anchor, His hand my rescue!

Trixi is a mixed-media artist, writer, and thought leader, passionate about restoring creativity and joy through faith and inner healing — and a facilitator of creative healing gatherings, using art as a way to touch hearts, restore hope, and reveal God's presence. Her work is deeply personal — born from seasons of breaking and rebuilding — and carries a message of courage, grace, and redemption.

Guided by her values of faith, service, integrity, and generosity, she is committed to uplifting the broken-hearted, creating safe, transformative spaces that foster inner healing and personal growth where people can encounter God's love, and inspiring others to live with authenticity and wholeness. Whether through a brushstroke, a heartfelt prayer, or a gentle word, Trixi's mission is simple yet profound: to be a beacon of hope, reminding others that they are seen, known, and loved.

Patrizia's journey has been shaped by personal struggles — including emotional neglect, displacement trauma, betrayal, rejection, and a lifelong battle with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Through these challenges, she discovered the power of faith and creativity as a path to healing. This led to Healing 💔heARTs💖, an initiative of encounter groups, creative gatherings, and paint parties designed to help others process pain and rediscover creativity, joy, and a renewed sense of self.

From her studio in Mairangi Bay, she continues to ignite creativity and encourage others to embrace it as a tool for restoration — creating safe spaces for belonging and healing 💔heARTs💖 in her mission to change the world 🌎 one broken 💔 heart 💖 at a time.

“Beauty in the Breaking — brokenness is not the end of the story, but where God begins His most beautiful work.”

The scripture I'm built on
Isaiah 61 — original painting by Patrizia Schwartz
“Isaiah 61” — original painting by Patrizia

Rooted in Isaiah 61

📖The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; ²to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, ³to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” ⁴And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
Isaiah 61:1–4 (NKJV)

The Logo Behind the Name

When a prophecy, a name, and thirty-five years of God keeping His word become the mark you carry into the world

I was twenty-one, in a blue and white dress at the back of the church, when a stranger pointed at me and spoke words only God could have known. I've spent decades discovering how true they were.

The Poetry in my Name

A quiet reflection on identity, destiny, and the way God whispers truth through the very names we carry.

A few days ago, an unexpected prompt appeared on my screen. The suggestion was simple, almost playful: "your names as poetry".

What's in a Name? 🤔

A reflection on identity, calling, and the poetry God wrote into you before you were born 🌱 🪨

🕯️ ✍️ 📖 🕊️ There is a holy tenderness in the way God names His creation. Nothing is rushed, nothing is random, nothing is shallow. Scripture reminds us that identity is never an afterthought with God; it is authored with intention, layered with…

When Rejection Tries to Rewrite Your Name

Let it refine you, not define you.

There’s a shadow that has followed me all my life — rejection. It doesn’t knock politely. It lurks over my shoulder, waiting for an unguarded moment to whisper lies into my soul. Sometimes it strikes with the blunt force of a slammed door. Other…

Still on the Subject of Names…

To call someone by name is to remind them who they are — and who they are called to be.

When you call people by their NAME, you are reminding them of WHO they are & calling them forth & into who they are called to be. This post by Ann Hamilton was quite an eye opener to me because I have despised my names for most of my life. "The…

The Story of my Name

Coming home to Patrizia — “of noble birth” — and Trixi, “bringer of joy.”

Having an identity is one of the most important things to our human nature. "Personal identity” is tied to our self-worth, how we see ourselves represented on a broad global stage among 7 billion other people. A name is your identity. It’s what…

A Name Restored

A covenant moment that dismantled the lie, “I am a mistake.”

On Tuesday, during A-School group prayer ministry with Duncan, Louise, Rina, Kylie, Otto, Elschen, and me, the Lord began something gentle and profound. He spoke to me about my names again as He did at the Loved, Chosen and Free seminar two months…
